College Football Picks Week 10, 2026

Editor’s note: If there is any week to fade me, this is the week. My process for the blog usually starts Tuesday morning just after midnight. I did not get started this week until Thursday morning just after midnight. I’m not doing as much research as I usually do. Also, I went 6-1 betting UNDERs last week, just a heads up.

Where Griff was WRONG in Week 9:

Oklahoma State -9.5 at Iowa State – “Been riding the Cowboys all year and I’m not stopping now. 6-1 ATS. Iowa State has scored 13 points over its last two (2) games.” – Iowa State won 51-49.

Washington at Nebraska -7.5 – “The Huskers are 6-1 ATS. Surprised? Me too. They lost the best games they played (vs IU and at Oregon) by three (3) points each game. They’ve won every other game by at least 18 points. Washington is not as good as IU or even Oregon.” – Washington won 17-10.

Where Griff was RIGHT in Week 9:

Baylor +1.5 at UCF – “This is the spot of all spots. Baylor just (finally) fired Dave Arranda. They get an emotional boost from the interim coach. UCF just upset #2 BYU at home. It’s an emotional letdown spot.” – Baylor won 41-9.

SMU at Syracuse +10 – “Syracuse are wearing helmets with “Otto the Orange” for the first time ever. SMU has not played in a dome since 2012. The Mustangs are vulnerable: trailed at halftime last week vs Cal before winning big, only beat Virginia, Boston College and Missouri State by a combined 29 points. Cuse just had a big 31-30 OT win at North Carolina. I think the crowd plays a big role in this game and Cuse may just win it outright.” – Syracuse won 30-27.

Last week: 14-8 / 2026 record: 85-66-1 / Since 2022: 455-420-11

Dominic Toretto’s “Take it or leave it” Pick of the Week (2026: 5-5 / Overall: 27-28-1): UCLA at Minnesota UNDER 39.5 – Again, I think we figured out the Bruins’ playbook: run the ball, play good defense, get the win, make the CFP. UCLA has had three (3) straight home games, so going on the road, crossing just two (2) timezones, shouldn’t take too much of a toll on them. Minnesota just can’t score either (17 ppg in six (6) games vs Power 4 teams). The Gophers are 4-1 to the UNDER at home. Minnesota could absolutely win this game straight up, but it will be a battle no matter what.

Nebraska at Illinois UNDER 49.5 – Nebraska is hopeless on offense. Averaging 14 ppg over the last three (3) games. Illinois averaging 19 ppg over four (4) games outside of the Michigan State game. Both teams stink.

New Mexico at Nevada +10 – The TOTAL for this game is 36.5, suggesting we could get a close game. New Mexico, although 7-1 SU on the year, have not been impressive lately, with wins by 11, 5 and 5 points. Nevada just lost 27-0 at UCLA last week. But we knew that was going to happen and we hit the UNDER on that game. Point is, I think the Lobos are overvalued. The last five (5) times these guys have played each other, the final margin has been no more than 11 points.

TCU at Arizona UNDER 45.5 – TCU is 7-1 to the UNDER now. Arizona is 3-1 to the UNDER at home this season.

Iowa State at Baylor UNDER 51.5 – ISU is 3-0 to the UNDER on the road this year. Baylor is 3-1 to the UNDER at home.

SEC Insider Picks of the Weekend

*the following is verbatim*

I’m going to try to give a little more effort than my fellow insider from across the pond…

Mouth Watering Pick of the Week (2026: 2-7 / Overall: 22-28-1): Kentucky at Tennessee -6.5 – This is where it all starts to crumble for UK. Does anyone really think they are going to play in the SEC Championship? Does anyone really think they will make the playoff? History repeats.

UCLA at Minnesota +4.5 (ML sprinkle alert 🚨) – I’m not buying this whole UCLA charade either. Lots of travel. 11am local kick. Minnesota is frisky. Ski-U-Mah. Row The Boat. Go Gophers.

Georgia -3.5 at Ole Miss – I’ve had a tough time reading this Georgia team this year. No Lacy seems like a big deal in this one. Hard for a one-dimensional team to beat Georgia I think. Trinidad will have to career it. We have seen him do it before I guess… History repeats itself…

Alabama +6 at LSU – No one is higher on the Tide than I am. The committee got it right putting Bama at 5. If they are who I think they are they win out-right. Let’s get Kiffin eliminated early.

Miami +7.5 at Notre Dame – My model says you take the U.

Oregon +7.5 at Ohio State – Taking the hook here. No one loves the spotlight quite like Dylan Raiola. It doesn’t get much bigger than this. Lanning should have a good plan for this Fahey kid to get in his cage. Last week was ugly. I’m afraid USC still might stink.
